Detroit Mint Caretta World Time Calculator Turtle Dive Watch Red Sky

The classic turtle diver in deep red sunray dial with the vintage inspired World Time Calculator Dial. This is a unique look that takes this piece to a more custom look. The world time calculator is not a GMT but rather the bezel is used to perform a basic 24 hour calculation on the time anywhere in the world. Set your city to the correct position on the 24 hour scale and then read forward or back word depending on the direction you are trying to calculate. It's a very cool vintage gadget from before the GMT was popular. The Specs on the Caretta are the same as our standard except this comes with both the Vulcanized Vanilla Rubber Band as well as a Vintage Black leather for more of a pilot look.

• All 316 Stainless steel case and hardware construction
• Solid Sapphire Crystal with Anti-reflective coating on the underside
• C3 Swiss Superluminova on the polished hands and applied markers
• 24 Hour timer markings on the Rehault ring for calculating world time
• Screw Down Crown and Case back to achieve 200 m water resistance. Yes this can be used for recreational scuba diving. I use mine all the time.
• Vulcanized Vanilla Scented Rubber strap with machined buckle
• Vintage Leather strap also included.
• Comes with watch roll and pin changing tool

Options:

• Nato or single pass straps instead of leather (just ask if you prefer something different)
• Stainless Steel fitted solid end link milled clasp bracelet looks amazing on this watch and can be added and installed for you. We can also fit it for you if you know your wrist size.
• Available with blue or silver world time bezel but this really looks great with the black and red one.

• 30 Days no questions asked returns, repair, replace, refund
• 90 Days evaluation. If there is anything wrong with the watch in terms of craftsmanship, quality, durability, just return the watch for a repair or replacement
• Lifetime service contract and warranty. If for any reason the watch needs service or repair send it back to Detroit Mint and we will perform the required service or repair for a maximum cost of $75. Usually less but a max of $75.
